The Problem
1. Retail traders currently rely on clunky Excel spreadsheets or manual journaling apps. This process is tedious, prone to human error, and heavily affected by hindsight bias — traders often misrepresent or rationalize why they took a bad trade. 2. Existing journaling platforms focus primarily on vanity metrics such as Win Rate and Total ROI, rather than behavioral psychology. Traders lack automated tools to measure critical performance indicators like Tilt, Drawdown Recovery Speed, and overall trading discipline. 3. Even when a trader becomes consistently profitable through journaling, their personal spreadsheets hold little value to hedge funds or institutional allocators. There is no standardized, institutional-grade framework for traders to verify and present their track record in a credible way to access serious capital. 4. Capital allocators waste hundreds of hours manually reviewing fragmented and inconsistent retail trading records, searching for a small number of genuinely skilled traders. 5. Institutional allocators require strict risk-adjusted performance metrics — such as Sharpe Ratio > 2.0, Calmar Ratio > 2.0, and Max Drawdown < 15% — yet most retail traders neither track nor understand these benchmarks. 6. Unverified trading data often conceals dangerous behavioral patterns such as revenge trading or Martingale position sizing. These flaws can create deceptively smooth equity curves right before catastrophic account blowups occur.
The Execution / Process
1. User Flow We started by mapping the entire system’s logic. This diagram defines the user journey — from connecting a broker to logging trades or joining a challenge — ensuring the application remains intuitive and easy to navigate before any design or development work began.
2. Wireframes ( Low Fidelity) Next, we built "skeletons" of the screens. By using simple shapes without color, we focused entirely on where information should go, making sure complex data like trading charts stayed organized and clear.
3. The Dashboard This is the main control center. It gives traders a quick look at their account balance, win rate, and profit trends. It uses a simple "green streak" calendar to encourage users to trade with discipline every day.
4. Community & Academy This area combines learning with social interaction. Users can take trading courses and immediately jump into a community feed to discuss market setups and share ideas with other traders in real-time.
5. Skill Arena - Challenges & Leaderboard To make trading less lonely, we added a social and competitive side. Traders can enter challenges and see how they rank against others based on their actual skills and consistency, not just how much money they have.
6. P&L Log - Trading Journal & History This section turns a list of past trades into a learning tool. Each trade has its own card where users can note their emotions and mistakes, helping them find patterns in their behavior and improve over time.
7. User Profile The profile displays a user's stats and earned badges, acting like a professional resume. It showcases a trader ’ s "Achievements" to prove their growth and expertise to the community.
8. AI Trading Coach Floating on every screen is a Smart AI Assistant. This acts as a real-time mentor, helping traders analyze their charts and providing instant feedback on setups without leaving the dashboard.
9. Mobile Responsiveness Because traders are always on the move, the entire system is fully mobile-responsive. Every feature, from the complex charts to the AI coach works perfectly on any phone or tablet.
The Solution
We provide traders with an automated AI journal to fix their discipline, which acts as a trojan horse to build an institutional-grade Verification Engine, allowing hedge funds to hire verified talent with zero friction.
